Looking for a bit of inspiration really. I'm having a full kit fitted and full respray in the summer, hopefully in time for JAE etc. The kit is all sorted, i just need some ideas for the paint job.

 

The car is black just now and TBH i want to keep it black (or at least mainly black) i just want to do something that will make it stand out a bit, but somehow remaining subtle. Problem is, i dont like the 'jap style' door stickers and i defo dont like big silly fast and the furious graphics. :hurl:

 

I've maybe not left you much to work with there but thats why i'm stuck. Just hope you guys are a bit more imaginative than i am.

 

Only thing i have thought of is some kind of black/silver two tone job.

heavy gold metalic base coat, silver metallic ghost flames, then black laquer.

i personally like the large metallic flakes. i was thinking of having my car done in silver with large flakes but presume it will cost a small fortune and then have the problem of finding someone decent enough to do it.

or how about matt silver?

I think the matt and silk finishes look poo. As if you did it with aerosoles. Trust me you want a vibrent colour with a deep gloss finish. I've see a flip that goes from deep egg yoke yellow to deep burn orange and it looks the boll*cks. Or keep it simple and just go for a black to blue Flip.

Like i said, i was a bit put off by orange because i wasnt sure on what to do with the interior, but the cream leather looks quite nice here.

Would be interesting to see a Z32 in this colour.

 

ooh...now that is nice. Darker and Richer than the other Z32 one.

 

A matt colour would be interesting. When it was first mentioned, It reminded me of a Hand painted Black Capri that looked like a right shed down my parents road...but the those pics look pretty tasty.
