Woke up this morning and had to go out the back of the house and get my house keys which I'd left in my car. Didn't notice anything odd but then my mum calls me and says the sheds been broken into!!!! . The police told her not to go down there as there'd be foot prints in the snow and they'd get someone down here. This was at 8:15. At 4:00 they turned up and dusted down for prints (we'd called back since then and they told us to put stuff back in there to dry out). The shed is quite secure as it has a proper lock on the front and the windows are backed by curtains. Trouble is there's a railway line behind our place and there's always people walking down it.

So what went missing? Mine and my brothers mountain bikes totalling aroung £2000. Trouble is our insurance only covers biukes upto £500 each :( . They'd broken one of the windows (to look in) ans then crowbarred the door. I'm so glad they didn't nick my new tailgate or brand new rear spoiler they'd removed from the shed and put on the lawn or the 3 alloys I had down there.

Thing that got me most is all the stuff they'd taken out to get to the bikes they had stacked neatly up against the shed. They's even proped my bro's other bike neatly up against some trellis?

I Hope the cops catch them (or tell us who they are :wack: :mac1: ).

Rant over

Ivan   :( :mac1:

LOL yeah colditz! I dont think they knew what was in there as they broke the window in the middle of the door (I assume to look in). The bikes were well modded as mine had at least £400 worth of mods on top of the £1300 price when it was new in 1999!

Ivan

 fookin scum!!!

Sorry to hear this Ivan, lets hope the police can sort it!!

I hope so mate but tbh i'm not hopeful. I was thinking of selling her anyway but was only going to get £400 if I did. Told the insurance and the police they were £800 each! LOL

Sorry to hear another story like this. My Brother once put his £650 bike outside a phone box to make a call and some cheeky fooker had the balls to steal it right in front of his eyes. By the time he got the door open, the tw@t was off down the hill never to be seen again. Someone should invent Tazers for bike frames!

sorry to hear that ivan, hope it gets sorted one way or another

yeah, sorry to hear mate. a mate of mine is a semi pro mountain biker, he had every conceviable bolt on part, he came home sunday midday, opened front door, pulled bike halfway in while he ran into kitchen to turn off house alarm, and while he done this (in the space of about 30 secs) some thieving ******* nicked off with his pride and joy!.

Grrrrrr!!! I cant understand why these w4nkers do this... they just sell your stuff for there next fix. Whats p1sses me off even more is some fooker knows that theyre doin it but dont say nothin. I HATE BULLIES AND THIEVES.

Id take the petrol outta me Z and pour it over these low life b4stards and well....you decide what comes next.

Gutted for you Ivan.

Sorry to hear it has happened to you Ivan. :( :(

I had this same thing happen to me when I had my YZ250 crosser stolen. They climbed a 15foot brick wall, braved roses and other thawny plants, then took the bike cover off and NEATLY FOLDED IT INTO A SQUARE, placed it on the ground and made off with my bike. Fooking thieving mofo scum [rant over] :mac1:

I swear these people need shooting. It really will do society a good deed.

Regards,

Robert.
