i am looking in to buying some crome alloys for my zed how big can i go?? was only really thinking of 18 but would like to go wide, especially on the rear?? please help, need to replace soon, ps if any one has any for sale would be interseted in pics,,

Hi caseyj. Bought my wheels from a gent that works at "Wheeltech Southwest" Plymouth.They were imported from America.

You won't be able to get anything wider than 9" rims under Stock Arches, without problems. I know that for sure as I bought a set of 17"x10" wheels off a Z with stock arches and the silly Fooker had Chewed the tyres up to shreds everytime the car went over bumps. The tyres were only 245-35's on the rear so definately don't go wider than 9" dude.

I'm a lover of the lowered car :bow: putting 18" on mine and then lowering it 30mm or so brought the car down about 10mm under standard, My thought is you cant reduce the tyre profile much more than 35, so more than 18"will lift the car off the ground.

20" wheels must look good but they must surely lift the whole car off the ground some?

So who's got the most rear rubber on? - A competition for wide arch members only of course, but who has got the biggest bum on here?

I can go one better than that 275 35 18 on 10" rims with 60mm spacers to fill out the wide arse arches.

i'm still winning with 110 mm spacers - and a huge side bulge of 175's on 9's

Yup! full wide ass and strosek kit brock b4s and all rubbers and trims changed. New headlamps with chrom inserts.
