Did an oil change today, took the nut off and only about 3/4 of a litre
of oil came out. I have checked the oil before but never had the
impression it was low like that.
Put the new oil in (theres a sump leak) and the ticking stopped (it was previously thought this was fuel injectors), when we
turned the car on there was smoke coming out of the left exhaust. It
stopped when the car warmed up.
Seems like it could be something quite bad my mate reckons, damage by a lack of oil. Theres now a certain rattle which my mate says sounds a bit 'cammy' at certain revs when you wind up the engine
Any ideas anyone?
