I joined another forum yesterday to enquire about this suspension lark I have been going on about. I put a sensible question down regarding this and all I got back was complete bollox. I had about 17 replies in one evening and not 1 of them gave any advice. All it was doing was taking the piss about me wanting to lower it, being from Essex(!),....... I was bloody annoyed about it and really ripped into them!!

 

We are all lucky to have a forum like this one where you always get decent answers no matter what questions you ask.

Cheers for that Warren, but all is sorted now. I did look in Demon Tweeks but they didn't have the setup I wanted. I eventually got them direct from AVO.

if you ever do find a good bmw related forum i'd be really keen to know...

 

almost all the ones i've seen are along the lines of

 

"check my phat car"...

"your car sucks...mine is better" and so on.

 

with tech questions going unanswered. grumble.

I think the only decent one I have heard is the BMW Car Club of GB. I think it is a very small one (compared with this one) but they're meant to be okay people.

God I'm pissed off. I got another reply from that sensible question I asked on the BMW forum about suspension and this is the type of response I get from some muppet...

 

"just because no one gives a toss about your crappy car don't take it out on me I gave you all the help you need to improve your car and make it the pride of Essex and thats the thanks I get. Some people eh . if you folloe my advice you'll have loads of girls in white high heel dripping with cellulite wanting to sleep with you and being from Essex you'd love that wouldnt you"

 

 

Just read your post on the BMW forum, Chris. All the people that replied are also very new - about 6 replies is their highest number. They seem far more interested in taking the mick than in helping anyone out.

Cheeky bastards. Only small parts of Essex are like that - not the part in which I live I hasten to add !
