hi i have a (2000) nissan primera 1.8se which at the movment drives like 600cc :cry:

going up the hill it just slows down like there is no power at all i have changed the plugs, air filter,fuel filter and asked some one to have a look a cat he says its ok :rolleyes: had a computer test done they said the fuel is burning lean? as i have no idea what that means can anyone here help. thank u

Basically means there is not enough fuel getting into the combustion chamber, this is not good because if the engine is under load , ie going up hill foot to the floor the engine could suffer from pinking , ( pre dettonation ) this can cause holes in the pistons due to massive heat build up , it could be that the fuel pressure regulator is faulty or you could have a fuel leak , i know it sounds crazy but sometimes the fuel filler cap breather hole becomes blocked this causes a vacume in teh fuel tank that the fuel pump can not overcome and the fuel supply is diminished under load , try taking off the fuel filler cap and cleaning the breather hole with an opened out paper clip
