AVG is picking this up but cannot remove/repair it. I've done a search in Google and have found some info on it but can't find how to remove it. Can anyone help?

I had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago try downloading Avast.

DelCMOS is a boot sector virus so will be memory resident as soon as the machine starts from the hard disk. There are some removal instructions here. You basically have to to create a clean boot disk and then recreate a clean master boot record.

its not really a virus more of a spoof. it effects floppy disc little more see link
