Hicas & speedo

Eve' all,

My Hicas light came on this eve' & I lost rear wheel steering & the wheel went very heavy! At the same time my speedo died & the needle hit the pin like a sack of spanners!

Stopped at a garage looked at the fluids / fuses etc, all seems fine, very strange coz she's been 110 % reliable for 5 years.

What can I look for as a solution :( cheers
