Ok the story i have to tell you guys is quit funny.

According to racelogic dealer in America, the Traction controll system fitted in europe is different to the unit sold to America and that fitting a unit from the Uk on an american car woudl cause damage to the US car ????/ Anyway having spoke n to racelogic i can confirm this is a load of crap.

Not quite sure what us auto boys will do with full throttle shift, but I'm sure I can find a use for it

Quick update :

 

Johnny's still waiting for one cheque to come through and I've mailed the person concerned so as soon as that comes in, then we are all sorted.

LOL. ANYway...have spoken to Johnny again and have just realised that I actually speak to Johnny more than my boss, which is worrying, but never mind and apparently the adjustable system is the standard but does come with the following upgrades :

 

* Gearshift light : tells you the optimum point to change gears....nuff said

* Data Logging System : fairly obvious what this does

* Full Throttle Shift : Clutch-Knackerer

 

So the throttle shift is not included but if you really want it, then it can be ordered, for a small increase in the price...

Don't tell Johnny (or Racelogic) but I believe you can 'enable' all these features with a little ingenuity and a switch.

Haven't done the clutch switch on mine (it's an auto, but certainly know how to do it on an MR2). Datalogging, well that'll be a laptop on the serial port (storage is limited on the box itself) and gearshift light is already there - just depends where you mount the LED, or fudge up something brighter.
