I know that the Skyline GTR ones do, but I've had my Dad (who's in the motor trade) looking for a set of Brembos for me. He called me this morning saying that there's bloke selling a set from a Porsche 911. Will these fit, and what other modifications would I need to make for them?

Also, in case this falls through for whatever reason, which other cars' brakes will fit on a Z (and be an upgrade, obviously!)?

Well I've got the R34 calipers and disks and they are superb.

I know the pads they use are also for a BMW 8 series so they may be the same calipers. Could have a different fitting though I suppose.

The Porsche brakes will need to be off a 993 bi-turbo and you will require a bracket to be made up to fit the caliper (I think Vijay may have Porsche brakes on his car ... could be wrong though.) This is a v. expensive route to take.

Other than that, Skyline R34 brakes are a good alternative. I (meaning DTA-UK) will hopefully be able to offer these brakes and calipers at a competitive price in the coming weeks - I'm in the process of negotiating price and supply with a supplier. We'll be able to offer you either new discs, calipers and pad or used discs and calipers. Prices TBA soon.

CheerZ,

Dan

Thanks guys :)

I'll hold off on this and look forward to your R34 brakes then Danny.
