Just found out to my surprise that there are 4 more ways of adjusting my drivers seat! I was just adjusting my seat forward a little and felt the switch had some play in it left and right, pushed it a little harder and found it has four way adjustment on each switch! This is extremely cool for me, as I could never see the top 1/3 of my dash ie. couldn't see the indicator lights, the top part of the speedo, all sorts! I thought how daft it was that the steering had no adjustment, now after playing around with it I feel like I'm in a bloody F1 car! My arse is on the road, I can see the dash (although I can't see the bonnet... lol) feels much better, and blow me if it doesn't feel faster as well, it's like the change in driving position gives a much better sense of speed and accelaration...

 

Just thought I'd share this with you, even though it makes me sound like a moron... ha

 

Reminds me of when I got the car and couldn't figure out how to use the boot blind, I was trying to clip it somewhere and couldn't find those catches...

 

Feels like a new car now... excellent :D

i just found a lever under the steering wheel

when i pulled it, the bonnet came up

there was a big lump of metal and loads of wires

god knows what all thats for

so i put it back down again

i had my Z four and a half years before I new that pulling the hand brake up one click set your rear suspension into sports mode. Couldn't beleive the difference. Could get round some corners with all 4 wheels on the gound. :headvswal

No I jest you not and there is no mention of it in the hand book. Even my local unfriendly Nissan dealer didn't know about it. I'm not sure if its just on none Jspec or all. Someone on hear will clarify, but as god is my witness I tell the truth.

I found a lever down near the drivers seat and after pulling it a huge hole opened up at the back of the car.

No idea what it was for but whatever was in there has gone.

I'm going to use it to put the spare wheel in instead of driving about with it on my knee.

It's an additional air brake!!

I found that my fuel tank is bottomless..I keep pouring it in but 5 mins later when I look at the guage again its lying flat again!!!!!

I knew about this from day 1 but the trouble is unless i'm laying so far back I cant reach the steering wheel I cant see the top of the speedo! 6' 4" and I cant see what speed I'm doing (officer ;)
