Any pointers?

Doin a bit of work on the zed next week. Going to be fitting TT discs and calipers, porterfield pads, SS braided brake lines, DTA brake bracket, AVO springs, Smithy fuel lines, SS braided clutch hose.

Anybody have any tips that might help me out?

Cheers

Scott

For the fuel lines, take out the fuse called fuel pump (far right, nearest engine) in the smaller fuse box (drivers side inner wing, near the strut top) after taking it out, turn the engine over a few times (it will relieve all the fuel pressure) and then your safe to take the exsisting fuel lines off.

Cheers Rich. All help appreciated!! ;)

give yourself loads and i mean loads of time especially with the brakes

if bolts are stiff to undo dont wrench them they will shear off , give them a good coat of release agent and have a brew while its working for you

When fitting my new discs, I had to use a breaker bar to get one of the bolts off other than that done both sides new discs and pads in an hour nice easy job if the bolts come undone  oh nd use copper slip on the back of the pads :D Cheers
