Driving home from work last night and had to pull out of a side juction going right onto a fast busy road (westerleigh rd i think, going towards shunters work). Anyway saw a small gap so went for it, knew i had to build up speed so as soon as my car was pointing straight i applied 50% throttle. Car dropped from 1st o 2nd, but the engine just revved and wasnt gaining any speed. though AHHHHHH my gearbox has gone again, traveled 100 meters by this time, took foot off throtle hoping that this would then get her to jump into gear.

 

But what happened next?????

u realised that the car was fine , it had been wheel spinning and it gripped and u hit the portsmouth fish seller in front who was on his motorised armchair??? either that or u were then abducted by aliens who were more interested the the zed than u . am i close ????

First bit was spot on, took my foot off the gas, back end snapped nearly chucking me into the hedge. It wasnt raining, and the road seemed dry, so it caught me out a bit.

wasnt speeding, the wheels could not grip. the guy behind me was probally laughing at the idiot in the sports car snaking up the rd though LOL

I almost lost mine on a roundabout last sunday night snakin all over (wet road) would'nt mind if I was actin like a race car driver but I was doing 18mph in 3rd gear ffs.

I still havent forgiven it (I am not on speaking terms anyway :rofl: )

and the driver behind still up my arse 10 minutes after my display of how not to drive :rolleyes:
