Not me thank goodness, but a chap where I work has a brand new Ford Focus he had his windows tinted with what he was told was legal tint- he got pulled by the plod who took the light reading from the edge of the drivers window where the tint is darkest, and nicked him, he now also has a court appearance this afternoon for driving a vehicle unfit for the road. quid pro quo I suppose in the eyes of the law.

He is a bit of a Chav, but it seems the consequences of front side window tints are rather more severe than one first thought. Be warned .Croydon Plod are getting crappy not even giving him a chance to get the film removed. He also noted that the bloke in the Range Rover that was parked up behind him did not get a second look, despite having darkest limo tint all over it. Discrimination-surely not!

Don't know why they should discriminate. If I was a gun smugglin, drug runnin, pimp with a gun I would not drive a focus. It would be the range rover all the way for me

can see your logic Spinksy, shame all coppers dont think along the same line!

out of interest how often do you get pulled over? in the last year or something? could get a poll going....
