after cleaning my engine, the speedometer stopped working, I mean I could put a chalkboard to write down how fast I THINK i'm going, but nah, how do you fix it? I figure it's probably just a loose wire or blown fuse, the speedometer only works in 5th gear.

 

btw anyone know where I can get a 300zx cd service manual?

The speed sensor signal from the tranny, goes through harness connectors next to the HICAS actuator

in the engine room.

Try to clean those contacts.

 

It's strange that it works in 5th gear though...

haha that's no problem, you gotta drop by Sarasota, FL, it's like 3hours west of Orlando, 1 hour south of Tampa, the whitesand beaches here are to die for, white and soft as snow, one of the top10 beaches of the world.

 

South beach (miami) can kiss my arse, only good if you're going clubbing.

 

I actually found a mechanic shop today, attracted by the full stillen kit and perfect light blue paint

 

turns out ALL the people there have Z's lol, one even has 3, 240zx, Z31, and a Z32 o_O
