i am thinking of putting de-cats on my ztt, some people say not to some say will do no harm, only bad point i have heard is that i should get the rear seals on the turbos checked first, is this true, can any one help????? :

Mac ran a survey a little while back on the turbo seals issue. Full details are here

Problem is, there's no way of checking the condition of the rear seals on the turbos :confused: Only way you can get anywhere even close to protecting yourself is to replace the PCVs and related hoses (breather system) before you decat, but this is in NO way a 100% guarantee :(

ive had my uk tt decatted only problem i got was my clutch started to slip (wasnt in great condition anyway) part from that everything fine and also feels lot quicker (until clutch slips) ive also heard from my mate an mot tester anything over a 91 j needs a cat for mot
