Secondly, I dropped into Harry's on the way and bought some 0.8mm welding tips. So if any of you without the luxury of electronic boost controllers wants a pair to enable running ~14psi boost, then let me know because they come in fours.

Welding tips i've a draw full of 'um in my workshop, does it work !!! all ears mate (i read on tt.net that you can only cane it for 2-3 seconds or so ! is this right or wrong ? I dont know.

If anyone on the forum wants copper tip tubes, .6 to 1.6 (6mm o/d) let me know & ill send two in the post, just mail me for address to send SAE.

Works great for me mate. Have been running 12psi for about 2 years. Since installing my JWT chip I've been itching to raise that to 14psi, so today I went shopping.

 

0.6 mm might be a bit lary, not sure how much boost that would give, but I would estimate about 16psi+
