steamy window

Trying to phathom out a/c but how the buck do you heat the rear window, i know it must work as the window has those heat thingies - most a/c had a rear window switch!

Please help having trouble seeing when it all gets steamy...

From memory (hey, it's been a while since I could drive my zed frown.gif ).. the rear window demister switch is on the right hand binnacle, not the left one (where the aircon is)..

course i could be talking out of my arse here smile.gif

T3rbo m8! There is a rear defog button on the right hand cluster all the way at the top. The icon on it sort of looks like a rectangular window with horizontal lines on it. For good measure, to defog the windscreen hit the top left button (next to the AUTO button) on the left hand cluster. But you probably already knew that ...

Hope this helps!

Danny

PS - if the rear defog doesn't work check to make sure that the heating elements on the window are actually attached. There are two little plugs on the rear window - one at the bottom for the heating and one at the top for the in-window antenna.

They also seem to get scratched and broken. I had to repair mine with that silver conductive paint. Worked a treat though.

Right hand cluster as previously stated...it works really quickly when working......as the recent weather has tested..

It just seams like they don't work, takes ages before it does anything.
