What the cheapest Z bought on the road?

I bought Big Roys Z around 18months ago,UK T&T 1.5k and sold it for the same to a friend becuase he wanted one. :rolleyes: then he broke it for spares and made about 5 k LOL

Paid 2k for my red uk manual 2 years ago. :p

Mine was standard Jap TT, Did a swap no cash involved for a Volvo T5 I paid £2490 for!

Stands me at around £9k+ , but if I'd paid £5k for it which was the going rate and prob still is for one in the condition, it would stand me at £12+ LOL

 

I'd like to think I did ok...just wish there was more to show for the £1000s spent..and I've by no means finished. Body work next, gotta keep up with the Bazza's and all that..

Paid £3750 for my SWB NA. Spent that again though on one thing or another.

2K over 3 years ago (on V car) bought it to make a quick buck, drove it ..mmmm..now would I sell it ? would I f*** :D :nana2:

Mine is parked up on my brothers driveway at the moment, been sitting there for about 5 months. Some cheeky monkey asked my brother if he wanted to sell it for £500. lol

 

Paid £4000 for mine 2 years ago.

I paid just over £4000 a few months ago for my 92 TT Manual with 55k miles. but it needed some tidying, replacement front shocks and aircon compressor.

 

I consider it a bargain, and would advertise it at closer to £6k now if I was to sell it (but I wont be selling it :D)...and I believe it would sell at that, as despite the stupid prices they sell for on here, they still sell at much (realistic) higher prices on Autotrader and at Dealers.

there was a red 1994 UK manual TT 70K on clock for sale about 3 months back in the North West auto trader for £1000. The Reason was a blown head gaskett and he'd been quoted £1,800 + to repair by those butchers at Hartwells in Chester. I told him a few places so maybe he kept it, because I said if he didn't get it fixed I'd have it.

excluding fuel and insurance aswell add 3k total 12k

Paid 5400 for my 92 uk TT two years ago. Spent just over 1 grand on mods and about £500 on maintenance.

The zed is not my daily drive so maintance is quite a bit less than usual.

lol - where's the £20k+ option? Good to see so many paid over £5k (currently 50%). Sad to see some of the prices they are going for now :(

I just paid £1300 for my Zed TT...... :-)

 

but then I had to pay for a full engine rebuild at Z-Tech.

 

Then I wanted Race logic traction control to be fitted, a set of 18's and then spent a rediculous amount on a Private plate!

 

OMG I have just read that again! Now I cant tell if my Z was cheap or not!

Anyone know of a good therapist? I need help!

I bet there wouldn't be 50% of people spent over 5k on a Zed now lol!
