I used to have a GT4 about 6 years ago........and I liked it......6 years ago!

 

its a good stepping stone onto Zed ownership. :tongue:

The only GT4 I had a go in Seemed a well put together, good handling and very quick car. However A good Z is an extremely fast motor :tongue:

I got a GT4 too, but still perfer the zed to it :D

I always fancied a GT4 but a mate of mine years ago had one and said it was terrible on fuel consumption so he got an FTO when they WERE very rare over here.

Not at all Ian. I had the new long wheel base Patrol S.E. Touring 2.8 TDI

It weighed in at almost 2.8 tons and I used to redline it every gear change.

It didn't matter wether I was driving round town, A roads or kaning it down the Payarge at 110mph. It did between 28 and 32 mpg. You can sellect rear wheel drive as well with the Maveric so I bet its not as bad as you think.

oh yeah, on the faster front? hmmm i didnt say top end, 4wd will kill rwd off the mark anyday.

 

Being able to do 180 mph is really handy for a day to day car in the UK ... ( i love the smell of sarcasm in the afternoon.)
