Well it is over a year ago but the time has come :nana2:  :nana2:  :nana2:  My Z is now running,Peter had a small problem with the idle as I am running such large injectors, but that is now sorted and will be staying with him for a few days at least until he is 100% happy with it,before he lets her come home.

PS sounds very strange on idle with the Pentroof manifolds

No mate,I am going to put around 2500-3000 miles on her and then we are maping the DTA on race fuel,Number? Well around 100bhp more than if I was running on Optimax.;)

mapping on race fuel? is that wise? unless of course you are only planning to use the car for racing. I would have thought it would have been better mapping with optimax, atleast that way you can use it more as a daily driver otherwise youre gonna have to keep it running all the time on race fuel which i should imagine is expensive.

But if your only gonna be using it for racing then furry muff!

Right this is the plan...........................................................................

Now that I have no stock ECU all we need to do is change the file in the DTA managment system. On a daily drive I will be running around 9psi on Optimax,Run over to the pod to compete with the big boys etc,I can take the boost up to 2 bar so I MUST use race fuel.If you do your homework you will see that all the cars at TOTB use it, as you can gain 100bhp with the set up I have.

Costing around £10 per gallon and with an estimate of the car returing around 4mpg on full boost race fuel is a no no for a daily drive LOL

Racelogic Group Buy anyone? ;) Good news fella! Hope it's a goodun!

shunter have you not noticed 99% of the zeds with big engines a red :hyper: only know one thats black :D

I think I have the answer to that, because RED is much more comman, the RED one's are cheaper to buy, therfore, owners of RED Zed's have more money to spend on bigger power!!

When you drive past anyone in a BLACK Zed, people say, "Thats a nice motor", but when you drive past in a RED one, they dont even notice you, so, you have to do all these upgrades to get noticed!!!

Luv you MAC!!! :mac1:

Well done Iain :duffer: Happy for you mate, cant wait to see her back. She sounds like a really awsome bit of kit
