Just won a set of new Z32 A'pexi BOVs for £180 plus P&P off Ebay. They're coming from the US so I may get clobbered for duty and VAT but we shall see... Well chuffed with the deal anyways..

Has anyone who has installed these on their Zed offer any tips or is it really a piece of p!ss? Will I need special pipes/hoses for these (hopefully supplied)?

Fingers crossed...

Easy Peasy

have a gander

hi

i took mine apart tonite and aim to fit the bovs tomorrow

however they dont look anything like yours (markzx) it appears that the only way they would fit is if the valves sit under the airfilter, almost in the front bumper? it the stainless pipes that seem to knock the job out, althought these valves are ment for a 91> and mines a 89, but in this link i have been told it dosent matter what the age of the zx is, it is now starting to worry me!!!!

i dont want to have to spend anymore time shouting PPPPPPPPPPPPTTTTTTTTTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

everytime i change gear

Post me a pic of what you got and I'll tell you if there the same, because they don't look like mine when there in their composite parts.

sideways: the valves sit either side below the air filter. the metal dog-leg pipes should plug into the hoses in the corners of the bay ahead of the radiator.

(err, just checked Mark's pics and mine are facing in the other direction!!!) - discuss?!?

hi markzx

got them fitted this morning and they work fine, however the stainless fitting pipe comes out of the old pipe of the bottom of the recirculating valve and towards the front of the car, hence the bov sits just inside the front bumper but under the small ledge under the air filter, i will take a pic with my fone 2moro and send it to you?

havent heard from cybernet to see how he got on either?

another thing that crossed my mind is that mine it a uk car, so i dont know if that makes adifference!

that said at least i can stop shouting PPPPPPPPPPTTTTTTTTSSSHHHHHHHHH

when i change gear now!!!!!!

Yep thats the same as mine I. + my car is a Uk motor too.

Would having a Jap spec motor with a blitz induction, plus a Mocal Oil Cooler and Autobox cooler infront of that cause any problems is fitting one of these kits?

*****cks - I've almost finished but have one problem  Passenger side fits in fine, driver's side has a number of what look like aircon pipes and a black cannister in the way (see pic). Don't think it's gonna go in here :(

MarkZX or Sideways300 - did you have this problem on your TTs and if so what exactly did you do to get around it?

Any advice appreciated as always!

Thank God........... Its Not Just Me

Well You See, Been Handy With A Big Hammer Helps. ....or

What I Did Was To Unbolt The Canister So There Was Enough Space To Get The Ally Pipe In But Also To Do That I Had To Bend The Bracket Back Around The Pipe Iself Like A Corkscrew, If You See What I Mean. I Didnt Cut It Off Because I Didnt Know If It Was Actually Going To Fit. But Now That I Know It Does I Would Suggest That You Cut Off The Bracket Altogether

If You Have A Angle Grinder To Hand. Trust Me It Will Work Any More Probs Giz A Shout.
