Hi,

You can try cleaning the connector, if that doesn't cure it, it's more than likely the sensor which is quite a bit of work to change :(

There is an easy way of curing it but it is by no means a safe option, you can use a 1meg ohm resistor and short out the connector on the loom side which will fool the ecu in to thinking that all is ok , the downside of this is that if there was a problem the engine has no way of protecting itself , tbh the only way is too replace the dett sensor which is a right pain in the butt as its situated in the middle of the block and the only way to get to it is by ripping all the top end out

The car should still be running properly but just not at its full potential the timing will be a little retarded and the boost will be running at 7psi as opposed to 9psi

That sounds about right, although boost is intermittent, never know whether its gonna go or not, so prob got another prob!!!! Defo intermittent prob with speed sensor too!!!! See what it'll cost and maybe swap for another zed and hope she dont notice!!!!! lol
