Two very quick questions:

1. i havent driven my car for a week and suprisingly the battery is dead (any reason why?). As i have a few gadgets e.g. boost controllers and airflow thingy do these all need to be re-configured or will they all work like they should??????

2. need someone local to install some sounds for me, subs amps and speakers. Can anyone recommend somepne in the coventry or birmingham area (preferably coventry)

cheers and happy new year to everyone

The gadgets you have like Electronic Boost Controllers etc all have a chip which stores your settings even with the battery removed.

I don't unfortunately know anyone in the Coventry/Birmingham area soz.

Happy new Zed year.

yer battery is on its way out.if its a dry cell battery its a new un ya need.if it isnt check the water lvl in all the cells any of em low top up with distilled water and you might get a bit more life out of it.mine goes flat if left for a couple of days on the nissan but the rover still only lasts a week and thats fairly new

if its dying after just a couple of days then either the battery is fooked or theres a big drain!

my battery is a 62ah battery, assuming a 0.1 amp draw (really the absolute max you should see) then it should take nearly 26 days for a fully charged battery to become dead flat ;)

I used to have a Rover 800 Vitesse, and left it onthe drive for a year. The battery only went dead once! and it started practically everytiime I tried to start it... (never drive it, just started it about 4 times in that year, and turned it straight off)
