PMSL this forum should be called:

Bring your car here to have it stolen

You won't be seeing me there scratchy, although I can ask my mates if they could recommend any special creams for you

You'll be ok Paul - no one would steal a BLUE one anyway

Thats me safe then :D Best save me some money and cancel my insurance :D

EDITED!!!

I will most definately NOT be going lol

Guy with 1 post invites everyone to a mini jap meet on the fourth floor of a Multi Storey? No thanks ;)

LOL can you imagine the phone call to your insurance company after having your car nicked.....

I have got to say though... I only live about 8 miles from Bluewater, and it isnt Chav city as much as you think......!

I may have only made one post, but how am i supposed to meet new people from behind my PC. I don't arrange the meet, it's an already well established one. Think what u like of me "KAY"

I can confirm this is a "regular" thing....

See here......

and here for LexusClub......

Japmobiles site (low interest on this one though!!)

And here for the SIDC club

Oh and this gotta be the clincher........

Good old GOOGLE.....

I'm all for a bit of suspicion (SP?), specially when some people are driving round in cars worth lots, but think (specially as I'm a noob too) that we ought to extend some friendlyness to people.....

OK mini-rant over :D

Steve

Cheers steve, at least there is some friendliness on this site. Dunno if I'll bother coming back if the majority are gonna be off

No problem fella,

But dont take it to heart mate, dont forget some people have spent a lot of money on their cars, and it isnt beyond the realms of possibility that someone could plan something like this, just to steal a car....

Do you have a Z? if so, stick with it (the club and site), and you'll see pretty much everyone on here is OK, and friendly most of the time (if a little suspicious!!)

Steve

Hey "SCRATCHYBALLS" if you don't want to sound like a TWOCER then maybe put a bit more info in your original post man! Don't YOU think you sounded suspicious? I've read and heard a lot about people organising "meets" only to be followed and carjacked or have their cars nicked there and then. It's right to be cautious! Like Stevepud said, these cars are one of the prime targets for theft, look at the general discussion thread, some dickheads are trying to nick them from right under the owner's noses!

Sorry if you feel offended by my suspicion, but when you've had a car stolen from you, it kinda does that to you y'know?

Lighten up mate, I hope you enjoy your mini-meet, from reading the links Stevepud put up, it sounds good :)

Peace ;)

Don't be put off bud! We're a great bunch really, but as mentioned already, your original post did sound a little dodgy! Hope to see you at a meet soon!

Cheers guys, had a bit of a hangover when i posted the last one. a little cranky, but hey I'm a chilled guy really. HEHE

Could all that attend please remember that this is not a meet for any form of unsocial driving. Burn-outs, doughnut's, wheel-spin's etc as this will probably result in this meet being shut down! So please remember, slowly in and slowly out. Don't wanna sound like a party pooper.

So, apart from that, how did it go? Any pics? :)

Dunno Kay, it's tonight,

I'll probably go along, might take my camera....

let you know tomorrow probably

Steve

I'm gonna show my face here.

Will take camera too.

I'll keep an eye out for ya Nick, you'll be in a silver Z? (not unlike the one in your signiture??!!)

I'll be in a red Z, K300 MRP

it's raining here at the mo, so bring yer coat!!

Steve

Well, I went, and it wasnt full of hooligans!

Between 50 and 60 cars were there by 9.30

Only 2 300'z Takemetothepub and me.

One guy in a 350z, didnt get to speak to him, as he wasnt near his car, then he appeared, got in the car and left!

Was OK I guess, but to be honest, nothing special. Though it was the first car meet I have been to, so didnt know what to expect. And was bleedin freezin!

I didnt see scratchyballs either.... well I might have, but dunno what he was driving!

What was up there....

Lexus soarers, FTO's, MR2's, couple of Poopras, Liners, couple of Civics, (1 shitty fiesta, but I gather that was a liner owner with a shagged exhaust on his REAL car!) few 200's, couple of celicas, nothing really outrageous

Thats all really

Next time it happens, maybe we chould get a few more Z's there, now we know it isnt a TWOCER's paradise!!
