Crashed my 200sx today, bugger. It will put into perspective what I can have done on my 300 now.

 

Just driving along and decided to overtake a few cars when for some bizarre reason I lost it.

The car span for a while then slid onto a grass verge, hit a tree and spun a bit more then rested nicely on the verge. My head seemed to cushion most of the impact so I am ok, just lept out of the car to let all know that I was alright.

 

Fortunatly no one else was invloved apart from the tree.

 

Car was actually chucking out fuel so got plod & Fire Brigade on the scene asap. Plod was actually quite frindly, I was expecting the Spanish Inquisition but I told him what happened and he accepted that.

 

Just been on autotrader checking out Siliva's wotch out guys.

 

Anyone after some nice Leather seats, alloys, sunroof, clean S13 interior?

 

 

Although most people wont see this,

 

I thank all that stopped to check I was OK plus the kind lady that forced me into her car to stay warm until plod turned up, plus all Emergency services.

There is no 'Good' way to crash a car, but it could have been far worse. I carashed my first 200 just before the millenium new year, again nobody hurt, but I hit the centre barrier of a dual carridgeway, when I had stopped spinning The car wasn't to badly damaged but it then got wandalised while it was parked up which made it a write-off.

Thanks guys. When/If I get my Z back I'll probably drive it like an old biddy anyway. Dunno if TC would have saved me, think ASM is what I needed, set to level 10, and a brain for the driver.

as long as your alright, that's the main thing. My old 200 did the same thing for no reason the back span out on the middle lane of the M1 - very strange!

Same thing happened to a friend of mine in his 200sx, I wouldn't believe him as he can't drive a nail let alone a car right except that I was in the car when it happened. Car lost it for no apparent reason, car was a complete write off too.....have you inadvertantly discovered a major flaw in the 200sx chassis.........

I threw my MR2 into a ditch once because the road curved and I didn't. While waiting for the Rescue Team to come and drag her out (aka my Dad and big brother ) this couple stopped and asked if I wanted to seek refuge in their house, which is just there. I declined so they offered me a cigarette instead. No thanks, I don't smoke. "Do you want to start?" they asked....

 

Well, let me think now....

Thanks Andy for the car report. I am sure you'd agree it was a nice colour.

 

Amazingly SE think they can re-build, am going to chat to Pete on Saturday to what can be done. Will be looking at minimum cost so panels will still look a bit dented.

She's started hassling them about my 300 as well. Can't keep her under control.

 

That dent in the roof is suss, we'll see. The vultures have already started circling the car wanting parts, so I may end up seeing what I can get for spares.
