Harsh...... but fair :D;)

PS it only costs 18 quid to hire an engine crane for a weekend :) I've even done a free how-to in another post :D

Steady on mate, That's a bit harsh!!!!

Oh no its not its IMHO

See, exactly what I mean, we all have our opinions but they are sometimes relevant to people or not !! ;)

The thing is to not be a snob and discriminate against people who are on a budget, but still help and encourage everybody with friendly advice and humour. :D :D

Personally I would rather run an old Zed than a new Ford, just my choice.

I have only had my Zed for 9 months, 6 months of that to get it running ok !

Without the benefits of being a member of this club, I wouldnt be as far on as I am. Cheers guys.

If you have enough capabilities to remove a turbo from a Zed, then I would like to think that you have enuff savvy to put it back together again ok.

But we digress !! The thread was posted to ask; Can you remove 1 or both turbos from the car with the engine in ???

The answer is yes, but it is recommended to pull the engine ! Sorted ;)

That is one thing I have never done however.................................

Because the price of the Z has dropped through the floor,It means that chavs can now own them, but a chav can't afford to have it repaird when the big major jobs need doing. So why do people live beyond their means when they cant afford to have the work done.

You see how threads can go to pieces because someone has an opinion and some one else does not agree?:D

Hold on - the implication here is that because I chose to swap the turbo's on the car I am in some way unworthy of z ownership!!!! (I've no idea what a chav is but it sounds derogatory) When someone asks a legitimate question it is only proper that those of us with relevant experience post replies - it's just this sort of comment which stops people getting involved and I will certainly think twice before offering my advice in future.

By the way I have owned my z since 97 (when they cost considerably more than they do now) and have been a forum member for over 2 years.

You hold on Dick!

I have the right to an opinion if you dont like my opinion they don't read it.

Now I am going to ask you a seriuos question do you have any idea why the way to do this job in the correct manner is to remove the the engine?

The way you are acting also makes me think why bother posting to help people?

Did you notice I put :D? Or is your sense of humer that dry?

You tell him Dick, Dont put up with his opinions!!!

You can piss off!

Need I say more - there's absolutely no need for this sort of thing.

Yes I do know why it's better to remove the engine - and several members have already covered this in detail - but that wasn't the question, hence my post.

Oh dear we have a real live wire here

Go back to John o groats and stay there until you get a sense of humer :wack:

actually, the question was about torbo removal.

torbos should never be removed from cars in situ or otherwise :D

(shall i just move this thread to fight club now?? :x: )

I give in - you're obviously way more witty than me.

I'm off to John O' Groats now - at least they're civil there.

It seems to methat this thread has gotten out of hand!!!!!!!

The reason the question was asked was that not being

stupid about the job in question i did the thing that most people

dont do. That is LOOK IN THE BOOK BEFORE YOU DO IT!!!!

This seems to be the right thing to do as NISSAN make the

FOOkin thing. They must know how to repair it!!!

It now seems that i am also unworthy to own such a car by

my comments and questions!!!

I can now see why people sell up!!

Let me think shall i spend £2000 pound replacing my tubs or shall i

use it to pay for the £3800 respray and body kit thats being fitted

in March?? i know i will pay £7000 to do the lot because other people

think thats the way to do it!!!

Not very happy with some returns on this thread

Prehaps i should buy an aston martin!

Wish you were here....

WHOAA !!!!

C`mon guys !!!! "CHILL" :D :D :D :D :D :D

Its almost a new year and lets be honest here.

If you have a Zed and you are loaded, then tear on and spend as much as you like, its your car. Do things the way you want to.

If you also own a Zed and you have other commitments and watching the pennies, then repair as you see fit.

Last thing we want is an all out war on whether you are worthy of having one or not. Chavs and Neds are the same thing I believe ??? Correct me if I am wrong ??

While there are no doubt a few tossers out there who buy these cars, thrash them and then move them on, as this club shows, there are more enthuisiasts on this site than anything else.

Chill out as this thread was origionaly intended to help someone ! Remember ?

Jeez, that was more like the Corvette Club there !! :xxx:

I am PMSL at this I have never in my life read such utter SHITE!

First of all if you think that is the way do do this then you cant of read this thread look.........

There's one major over-riding factor to all the above. Putting it back together correctly. Everything must be torqued to the correct specs and with limitted room, this is near enough impossible...

If you beleive that Nissan know what they are doing with the Z32,then pop over to your local main dealer and ask if they will change your turbos.

Most Nissan Main Dealers will say sorry we don't touch them.

As for the it looks like I am not worthy part FFS grow up will you? Some people are about as dry as a box of ****in sand

Wish you were here....
