my car has started to rev at 1.5-2k after being warmed up, then if i turn off the car and back on it seems to run back at 700-1k revs !!. Spoke to a few people and its suggested that the throttle bodies need cleaning again ( only did about 4 weeks ago !!) or the pcv's need replacing. Anyone else had a similar problem like this at all??

Have you reset your TPS?

Your throttle cable may need adjusting.

Ive had this prob twice myself and its cleared, i waz gonna take it to our local Zed guy but its bin ok for a couple of months. Hope Ive done this rite as Im a new user....

will be a subscribed member wen I work out all the hi-tech stuff.

used to have this on my old one, turned out to be the TPS in the end. Replaced it with a good and that sorted it.

where can i get a tps ?? do i need a new one ?? any idea of cost too ??

Mine too as this fault from time to time once a week or two

Follow the lead out of the back of the TPS, to the grey connector. With the engine running, disconnect and then reconnect ;) May well cure your problem ;)

On the outside of the passenger side throttle body ;) Black plastic rectangular box :)
