I've asked similar before but I can't find the thread.

Where would others recommend for a full service of my Z, I live in Dudley, west Mids but would travel a little for a good centre.

Next pardon my ignorance but what and where are the platinum plugs on the Z? What price are they for replacement?

Finally there are a couple of things that need tidying up on my Z now the winter has caught up with it, can anyone recommemd a Z friendly bodyshop.

Z-tech

I live in near stourbridge and i use Jeff at Z world for any servicing/probs. As far as good bodyshops go, i work for Riceboy bodyworx not far from dudley. Come down.

Platenum plug are spark plugs. Usually spark plugs are made from copper but the ZX uses Platenum tipped plugs to create a better spark. They cost about £8-£10 each though from Nissan.

There is an engine by numbers on the FAQ section of the forum which points out many of the engine components.

You are better trying to source a body shop yourself local to you if its only slight body repairs. There are very few Z specialist places. There is the Zcentre.co.uk in Nottingham and PPS way up north, but they are better used for installing body kits though.

Plug type and price depends on whether NA or TT! NA plugs are used in many other cars, are mass produced and so are cheaper - I do 'em at £36+vat for the guys on here. The TT plug is made just for the Z and has a slightly different design, £54+vat for 6.
