OK does a Turbo Timer, Momo Wheel and fooking octane boost count as modification?

If so I have no cover and quite frankly fuck owning a zed coz I am only allowed 3 mods with NU Direct, they know about my Bodykit, Wheels and zorst. I forgot to mention the HKS filter and dump valves, am i in trouble, I think i am.

So by my reckoning I have the following undeclared:

Dump valves, Momo Wheel, Turbo Timer, HKS Filter, Speed meter and Fuel/Air mixer (even tho the bastard things are switched OFF).

Great ! this renders my car un-insurable as I have no NCB and am on my fathers NUDirect policy.

Basically I am giving them £50 a month and they wont pay out right?

Fuck it - it is only reading thru the insurance thread on the Price Checks part of the forum that has bought this to light.

I've swallowed coz of owning the Kirk and put it down to that! But it's still high, and like I said, I've got a shed load of stuff to go on aswell so I'll be in the same boat matey...GULP!!!

 

I may have to limit my policy on the Z to 50 miles a year and disconnect the speedo. Which will also work better in my favour when I come to flog it...ROFL!

Senna mate, after phoning round today I started thinking shall I keep quiet about mods, but after being in a fatal accident 2 years ago and the old bill took my car away for inspection, the last thing I would have needed was to have no insurance - you know the fuckers are always look for an excuse out of paying.

The trouble with insurance is it is very personal to the applicant, depending on driving history age, sex, postcode etc. etc.

Two people with apparently similar profiles can get differing quotes on the same day from the same company.

I expect some people on the forum don't always give you the full story of what they have declared to the insurance company, either
