Had a very bad one last night, hit a motorbike head on after he was overtaking on my side of the road.

All happened very fast but all I remember was seeing a light which seemed like it was in mid air - it was the bike coming over the brow of a slight hill and on a slight right hand bend. Huge bang and then the whole right hand side of the car came in on me.

I was stuck in for a bit - they cut the door off to get me out so I didn't see the bike or rider, but apparently he is serious but not life threatening thank god. At the time I was certain he would not live through it.

I luckily have just cuts & brusies and a little bit of damage to my eyes as I got a lot of glass in them, testamnet to the strength of the Zed.

My pride & joy is absloutely wrecked and I don't know where it is as yet. Hopefully I can get some other belongings out of it but I am so gutted that all my mods will most likely be lost, as the car is fully comp etc and I will just get the agreed value back.

Not much I could do about this, but take care out there folks it can happen to anyone.

Jezus Alex - no words to describe ... I'm glad to read you weren't too seriously injured and that the biker will live ... Sorry about your car but it is afterall just a piece of metal - can be replaced - and I'm glad it protected you well during the event.

Wishing you all the best during your recovery.

Regards,

Dan

Scary

Shit mate, glad to hear you're relatively okay, make sure you rest up and try not to worry too much about the car, your health is more important!

Thanks god you are alive, and thank god no one else died.

Sorry about the car. Buy it back and get the mods back off it ;)

The biker probably survived because the Z is so low he probably flew right over it and landed on the tarmac.

If you can buy it back and its repairable I have enough parts to help you rebuild her. If you can find a good bodyshop I will donate whatever parts you need.

Take care and keep me updated bud

Sh1t, that sounds like a scary one, but glad you are ok bud. Take it easy and hope it all doesn't cause you too much grief.

kinell, glad no one died & hope u recover soon mate :(

Jesus!

Glad you're ok and the biker's not too seriously ill.

Sorry to hear about the car.... but like the guys say, it can be fixed.

glad your still here to tell us your safe hope the biker will be ok :)

Geez, glad your ok mate. Just goes to show, anything can happen eh.

Wish yourself and the biker a speedy recovery.

I know it's been said over and over but glad you and the rider should both be ok.

At least the bodyshops / repairs in the UK are far superior to Japan and Peter at PPS may be a good person to call as for repairs.

Its a real shame when things like this happen but whatever route you take make sure its a Zed!!!

Take care & get well soon.

Cheers,

Peter

Same from me too mate. :(

Once you get the insurance payout Zeds are pretty cheap at the mo, I know it's no consolation but at least you can replace it. You can't replace your life.

Good thing the ZX is a big well build car.
