Was out on Saturday and noticed strangness from my clutch, couldn't get the car into gear sometimes and biting really low. Was in Essex so limped over to see Ken at ZXS (A127) he said it was probably the rubber pipe had gone underneath.

Got the car home and confirmed his theory, rubber pipe at bottom of engine bay connects the two hard pipe from master to slave had split and was spraying fluid upwards...

do i need to source a replacement from Nissan UK  or can anyone else advise me of an alternative solution

Cheers

Why not get a stainless braided jobbie made up?-much cheaper and it wont burst again! ;)

Same happend to me, but in traffic as i depressed the clutch peddel,

loads of smoke as it hit the exhaust, very red faces!!!!

I dont think you will get a braided hose for this as the banjo

is a special. the oem is not that bad on the costing. piss easy to fit,

but dont forget to bleed the top nipple in the bay first!

Somebody had a bunch of these baided hoses specially made up, could be Jock, or Topless (or someone else!). Better than getting a Nissan part and much cheaper.

cheers for the advice guys, i will look into these alternatives and hopefully get the beast back on the road ASAP
