I know about all the light issues with the zed i.e. theyre pants...but when they brought out the 99 spec HID's are these any better? just wondering if its worth getting these instead of the other options?

Ask on TT.net as a few have them there

I have asked them and it basically boiled down to,

They are better, but not £900/£1000 worth of better.

Not all 1999 cars have HIDs.

It was a cost option on the N/A.

I dunno if the non-HID 1999 headlight is any different though.

I'd agree - a HID conversion would be the way to go.

I got the HID conversion from Mark at Outlander (Oneday) and they have sorted all the issues I had about being able to see where I was going in the dark !! I don't even use main beam now !
