Ive just read a review on this car and **** me its fast!!! 0-60 claimed to be 3.5secs (with W.O.T. all the way tho) :shock:

how the hell do they do that with a 2.0 4cyl single turbo?????

OK if we are taking into account specially done cars, I would like an Evo to do 260mph like the JUN ZX did.

Gah - not that old hat again. Norris's EVO would slaughter that Jun 300zx. I doubt he spend as much either.

it was great to see the evo keep up with the lambo....but when all's said n done it still looks like a saloon...the lambo on the otherhand looks like nothing else and is still gonna be worth 50k when the evo is spares down at GW Bridgers

Good point Stu - I'm sure if you put Evo's gearing in the Z and added 4x4, the Z would almost defo the laws of physics, but what I would like to see is how quick an evo would be with Z gearing!!!!!

 

Dont forget the difference in the weight also

Andy Barnes' mate at Trax a few years ago running the Sumo Power Evo VII I think, anyway he ran a sub 3 second 0-60...think it was 2.95 using launch control. Now that was an awesome Evo!!!

I think a set of front brake pads (genuine) on an Evo7 are £250!!!!!

2.95 for an awd is not that much i have a friend running the 0-60 in 2.3 and the 400m in 9.2 with his cossworth

2.95 not that much?? :confused: that is an amazing time to get a car from 0-60 and i know theres some quick cosworths but ive never heard of anything that can do it in that time!! so your talking F1 speeds now from a ford sierra??
