The 'religion' side of it I won't go into, its just a case of "my invisible friend is better than yours"

Most of the Xmas scrooges this year are down to ROSPA (that well know bunch of fun-loving paper pushers), and it's for a reason............US!!

That's right, if we had not turned into a country full of work-shy, compensation hungry dim-wits this would not be an issue. But no, everyone seems to just be hanging around waiting for something to not go exactly their way so they can turn into a drama queen about it and go running round demanding money to make up for their hurt feelings/cut finger :xxx: :slap:

We have no-one to blame but ourselves :(

Bang on Richard.

Its the same carpet licking, dicky back riding, nut loaf eating, tree hugging, anty hunting, we can walk where ever we like, war banning, animals lives are more important that people, speed camera loving, social fooking scrounging perpetual studens. Who for some reason always get to dictate to every body when Labour are in power.

These usless kill joys that are nothing but a burden to everyone who pays Taxes. Yet because they live on handouts from the state (our hard erned taxes) they have all the time in the world to lobby and demonstrait. While the people who keep the country afoat have to work and therefore get no say.

These people who carn't defend themselves, hold a job down, keep a family or observe anything to do with society get to tell society how to behave. These so called anarcists (who would be the first expendable components should society collaps)

Why don't they all pi55 off to some Island where they can eat each others nut loafs, tell each other how wonderful it is to be a carpet munching, dicky back riding hempweaver and leave us alone.

VOTE FOR ME NEXT ELECTION I'll soon have em goose stepping to the gas chambers.

Were a Christian country still arn't we.

LMAO - well said.....they are f00kin leaches.....they wouldn't be able to sustain their lives without others, who they criticise/undermine.

They often have an air of superiority and arrogance which makes you want to knock em out. And they get all wound up about fook all....cos their lives are so empty.....and they drink and smoke dope and get all pretentious and smug....kill 'em all !!

Mate I carn't agree with you all the time.

I defo don't agree with you now.

Most of the litgating society has been pushed by clever dick lawyers. Who pray on the feable minds of the Nut Loaf brigade, who because they've read Brideshead Revisited think em selfs interlactual and therefore dealing with their dope smoking dickyback riding, carpet muching equels man.

The lawyer on the other hand see the nut loaf brigade as a free lobbying tool to push new laws through and therefore make more money.

The vast majority of people out there are decent and bewilderd by what is happening to a country they not so many years ago beleived in.

I wonder if having a PM who's a lawyer and is married to a lawyer who "practises in employment and discrimination law acting for applicants and respondents. In her public law practice she advises local authorities and other public bodies, and individuals and companies. She lectures widely on human rights and advises on the implications of the Human Rights Act" has anything to do with it...

funny you say that...saw a prog about people who carry on eating , drinking, shopping while all around them goes up in smoke....its all true...something the firemen call acting out a script

as to the banning stuff...most of it is politically correct satire which gets posted on the web by amusing soles like who write for private eye making out someone somewhere is already doing it...then some personell officer in a big company thinks...ohh...it must be real cos here it is on the web....so memo to all....etc

Mate I carn't agree with you all the time.

No probs mate, that's why I like this place!! :) ;)

I'm the manager of a 'Business Centre'. We own office buildings and industrial units all over the country, and one of my responsibilities is Health & Safety. You would not believe how many times I have to run around doing 'risk assessments' for potential incidents that could be avoided if simpletons opened their bloody eyes.

Companies operate in constant fear of being sued, and it's far easier (read cheaper) to stop an activity than it is to run the risk of court/compensation if you let it go ahead and some fat prick cuts his arse on the photocopier. :xxx:  :p

OMG??? Like they would really stand in the way singing while the shopping centre is burning??

Some people have to think this shit up to justify their employment methinks..............

my previous post missed the above quote off....i have been in a couple of tall building fires....i recall a fire at the UCL in London...i was contracting in there one summer and the alarms went off...deafening screeching howling claxxon which could have been heard streets away...i dropped my work and walked fast/run out....only to run into loads of dumbasses trying to walk in...that'll be the fire alarm then i said only to be given vacent looks and muttered comments as they pushed by and went in...no-one died thankfully

The fire alarm problem seems to me to be more to do with the number of false alarms and fire drills we have. I've been evacuated from buildings more times than I can remember, but none of those have turned out to be real fires.

If you cry wolf enough times, people just stop taking any notice.

sad but too true i feel....after previously working in London for over 10 years i never forgot the kings cross fire everytime i went through the place...people got off trains, ignored platform staff, dis-regarded announcements and ripped through taped off stairs and escalators...calmly went to their deaths in the ticket hall above...probably thinking its only a false alarm too

Hey maybe thats why you've a similarly cynical attitude. Part of my job is actually going out to customers sites and doing risk assessments for our instalation and decomissioning crews. + general Health & Safety, Employment legislation and disaplinary reviews and tribunals.

It used to really pi55 me off, but I don't let it bother me anymore and You have take a step back look globally. When you do you realise that most of us are OK.

You're right, I do need to step back occasionally! I've got 45 companies working from one site, and 22 in another that I run, and I reckon I hear from each of them every day whinging about something or other that either does not concern them or affect them. They all threaten this or that, get really rather nasty, then come pleading for my help because they can't get out of the door (it says push but they insist on pulling), they can't use the photocopier (despite the instructions being in PICTURES) or they've forgotten their keys and can't get into work. It's like looking after 200 stroppy children all day :smash: :slap: Sometimes I feel like walking around with a bog-roll dispenser so I can wipe their arses when they have a little accident.

Then I come on here and VENT MY SPLEEN!!! :smash:

What sort of installation/decomissioning do you do?

Kin hell I have already written the book. We only have 150 ish working for us now, but nearly 100 of them are HGV Drivers all working from cusomers sites.

Anyone who knows truckers knows they can whinge for Britain and feel the only way to resolve any issue is to threaten to rip some bodies head off. Usually mine when they've been caught out not following proceedure. I.E. not earthing equipment to provent flash points when loading or discharging their Gas Tankers. You'd be suprised the size of some sites concequence areas. I'm talking 100's of thousands of people living within them and knowing sod all.

The rest of the guys our engineers, work on Land and Marine LPG instalations and pipe line pumping sites. The Drivers on Petro Chemical instalations for High street companies.

I'm supposed to be responsible :smash:

Can't we just blame the Americans instead ;)

Gotta love this thread - if we all think the same way, then so must the majority of others in theory......

......How come we can't seem to make a difference

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Tell you what Richard.

Your right that most of us feel similar, but when it comes to standing up to be counted its usually just me, and my so call fellow compardry's are pretending they haven't known me for the last 20yrs. British people don''t want the hassel and are prepared to take the sh1t thats handed out rather than be in the spotlight. Its sad, but true.

So in another 7 yrs when my youngest has finish school. I along with many more will be departing these shores for a life of selfish ignorance in the sun. To live with those Garlic eating b4stards we all love to hate.

What p1sses me off is that these people actually get paid to give us this sh1t advice. I agree they should ALL be lined up and shot.

I thought this was very valid too:-

These ethnic groups must be pissing themselves laughing as they see this going on, as Shunter says go to other countries and live by their rules

yep lets jump over goverments when it deserves it, but lets not lose sight of the crackpots who are being allowed to get away with this shite

Fekking PC crap - these idiots want shooting

This is still a vastly predominantly Christian country, we let all other religions celebrate their festivals without any fuss yet these PC anti-fun to55ers still kick up a fuss about Christmas

Now I'm not a Christian myself, nor do I follow any other of the religions, but I still celebrate this time of year albeit it has a different meaning for me.

Let's ban all forms of political correctness and get on with life - the majority of people couldn't give a shit about who believes what and certainly do not get offended just because one group of people celebrate one thing and they don't.

These are the same PC bast@rds who think driving is bad and want everything that normal people enjoy banned, so we can all be as miserable as they are. :xxx:

Rant over :slap:

Richard

lol on a off topic vibe

in japan there is a small cristian community, at this time of year shops often get confused and display santa on a crucifix in their windows

its a shame when this stuff spoils it for the children, I was really hating xmas this year and then I saw a group of school children in the local shoping centre singing carols with their teacher, thats what xmas is about :)

Because you knew that should a fire break out, because their singing carols they would be confused and so to would the rest of the shoppers. Therefore they'd get fryed  .

I know exactly what you mean I just carn't help being a cynic + I do think the whole commercial christmas thing has got out of hand. Its about time it became a bit more of a festival of good will again and not just expecting presents.
