Hello all,

 

I Was driving back home on the dual carraigeway from a business meeting at about 10 last night, cruising along at 70 listening to tom petty when a modified GTi-R (HKS Super Drager exhaust, 18" wheels) pulls up behind me, very rudely beeps his horn, and overtakes me accelerating hard. This guy obviously had no respect for the Z, so it was time to teach him some .

I floored the Z (which is misbehaving again due to timing being off), the autobox kicked down, and I caught up.

On seeing me in his rearview mirror the GTI-R guy drops a gear and floors it (not too hard to miss with the noise coming from that exhaust) and the GTI-R pulls slowly away from the (misbehaving Z) up to about 110m.p.h at which point the Z starts closing. By 125mph, I am right on his back bumper, by 130 I'm alongside, by 140 I'm about 4 carlenghts ahead, and by 150m.p.h he is becoming a small dot in my rearview mirror. It is at this speed that I realise I have gone completely nuts and slow down to a far more sedate 70mph, the GTI-R catches up and stays behind me for the rest of the journey (even when I slow down to 30m.p.h just to antagonise him .

(p.s I know I should seek professional help)

Hmmm, he's obviously worked out how to remove parental lock from his Dad's PC ....

You know, if everyone just ignored Porker, instead of rising to the bait and making it fun for him to remain here, he may get bored and leave this forum alone.

Hi guys,

Just been reading through your board and noticed you've got 'Porker' harrasing you now. He was on our forum(the 200sx board if you had'nt guessed) a while back. What a loser! It is funny though, for someone who apparently loves porsche's so much, to be on the Nissan sites so much!!

btw-I've been looking at replacing my 200 with a 300 and have seen loads of import cars (big wheels,fat exhausts etc) that appear to be quite good value. Whats the deal with imported z's, are they any different from uk spec? Should i avoid them? How do i tell a good one?

The main difference is the pain of insuring an import. Aside from that the differences are pretty insignificant and pretty soon get 'engineered out'.

 

Imports are usually lower mileage and generally in better condition when compared with a UK weather ravaged model of the same year.

Why don't you go back to the 200SX forum or wherever and leave us alone "Porker" (Timmy/Wazza/Duffman?)
