I bought some wheels and tyres of somebody on here a few months back and have finally got around to putting them on the car, the tyres were pretty much new (only done about 500 miles) but the buggers keep going down (well 3 of them do) any idea what could be causing the problem?? is it fixable?? or am i fooked??

Yeah I'd say take them to a tyre place and get them to re-seat the tyres on the rims....

I had the same problem when i bought a set of wheels.

Have to agree with the above comment, refit your tires and see how it goes :mac1:

Well why not go out and have a few beers to celebrate? That should even the tally up a bit when you get home pissed :D

just before kwik-sh1t rip you off - check to make sure youve not got 18" tyres on 16" wheels!! lol (sorry that was terrible) :slap: :slap:

had this problem before on my old car it ran 205/40/17 tyres kept losing pressure gave them to me mate who works at a volvo dealership. he removed the tyres cleaned the the rim and used a bead sealer when he refitted them didnt lose pressure at all after that

problem solved, one had a puncture repair that was leaking, so they fixed that, and the other two just needed the bead seal re-doing..

top marks to kwik fit!! had a really nice chat with them about the car, they didnt take offence to my guidance on how to jack the car up properly (had to nip home to fetch the scissor jack) or even my cheeky comments about checking the torque setting on thier wrench!! a lot of people would take it as me telling them how to do thier job but they were very receptive!

not surprised they are always busy and central tyre next door is always empty! price isnt everything!

thats not something you hear every day, somebody singing the praises of kwik fit! :D whatever next, nissan main dealers??
