First of all my bonnet sticks up on one side (passenger side) No signs of crash damage or anything like that. How can I sort it so it sits flush with the wing

Next. When I park on my drive I have noticed that when dipped headlights are on the driver side reflects white off the wall and the passenger side reflects a more yellowish colour. I recently changed the bulbs to Halfords +30 percent. The old ones were both different bulbs. Any ideas

Bonnet could be slightly twisted, or even the little adjuster could be sitting up too high or too low on either side.

Bulbs, Sounds daft but are they both the same bulb, I mean you did buy them from Harrys!

Rich

Yeah, both bulbs are the same. I even checked to see if the head lamp lens needed a clean, both looked spot on.

Will check the adjusters tonight. Thanks :)

The inside of your headlights may need cleaning, they can get pretty grubby after a few years. It's also possible that one of them has been replaced, so they're not of exactly the same age.

It may be you have a switch fitted for the alarm to tell when the bonnets open.

Mine was fitted with one, it was just a little too long and lifted the bonnet slightly.

Brian.

Cheers Andy. I will have a go at cleaning the inside this weekend.

Now you come to Bigbscan mention it I do have an alarm switch under that side, but the bloke who sold the car to me had wedged card under to keep the switch down, maybe he trimmed the switch a bit to far. Might get a new switch.

Cheers all
