Greddy Trust B Spec and B Spec 2 differences?

Hi The older Greddy B Spec has a different display unit to the newer Spec 2.

Is it true the older unit does not have an inbuilt boost gauge and needs to be calibrated against a separate gauge? On the other hand I assume the newer unit has an accurate boost guage built in?

I think the solenoid units differ too.

Any1 got either of these or experience with them and can help?

(Don't embarass me by saying it's in the FAQ)

Cheers

I've got experience with the profec-A, profec B spec-II and the latest profec B Spec-S

The older profec-A has a boostguage, the older profec-B doesn't.

The B Spec-II has a digital boostgauge, (which doesn't need recalibrating...it's very accurate)

The latest Profec B (the profec B Spec-S) doesn't have a digital boostgauge either.

Thanks Eric you nailed the question exactly.

The remote that attaches to the steering wheel (on the Profec B Spec 11) how essential is that, and does it show on the remote what boost setting you have (high or low)?

I am thinking of putting the display box out of sight in the glovebox.
