on this new z of mine it keeps making a bing/bong noise when you come to a halt, and the cruise will only work up to 70 mph?? is this normal??

the cruise yes is normal,

the bing/bong noise, is it when the door is open and the keys are still in?

or lights are left on and doors are open,?

otherwise its a japanese avon lady hiding in the boot :tongue:

No dude-that's when your USING abong! :x: :)

dont get uprated suspension otherwise the bong tends to fall over and waste all your herb in the boot :eek:

Mine also did this, there is a warning chime that alerts the driver when he gets to about 75 miles an hour, (Jspec thing) when I converted mine with a set of UK clocks the chime stopped at the higher speed but went off when I stopped, easily cured http://www.aus300zxclub.com/tech/Alarm.htm

lol i assume cos he said it did it when he stops, the 75mph was a tad fast :tongue:

I think it could be a bulb out warning sound, mine does it, only start to do it when I changed a set of the brake lights to work as fog lights, now I get the bulb warning light when I touch the brakes and the sound as I come to a stop.

Yep, mine did exactly the same when I converted to UK clocks.
