this has been around a while now...he has already been in a bond movie...that one with all the ice palace stuff...was on the box the other night...saw an interview he said he wasnt interested...judging by the latest films who can blame him...:)

i think this came about because P.Brosnan said he would be ideal when asked by some journalist...and the media think yeah....PB must know something + Mr Salmon denials = must be true........but that said he would be a fine bond...just hope whoever gets it gets some decent story/script...davido you did state he was already in bond..sorry didnt mean to repeat...just couldnt get that ghastly ice palace non-sense out of my head

Saw him once on Oxford Street, looked like a 24 carrat Tosser giving it Charlie Big Potatos!!!! :xxx:

Don't know him but good luck to the guy if he gets it.

The Bond films have become homgenous and crappy. Hope he can get them back on form.

I think Vin Diesel would be a better choice :x:

 severely joking

I'd still believe that Clive Owen woulda been a better choice :)

yeah that last film was a load of old jollocks wasnt it!! :D

It was fine until that computer-generated tacked-on waterboarding scene.

the whole essence of Bond was genuine stunts, JB as the hero and the women as co-stars. Now this will seem un-PC and I'm all for equality etc. but the women taking "equal roles" in Bond movies takes the pi55 IMO.

Us fellas have very little male only bolt-holes, bastions and avenues of escape left as it is because we are expected to allow women into ever aspect of our lives/activities (I mean women are allowed "women only" pursuites but if we suggest anything is "men only" we get called sexist and mysoginist etc FFS).

Leave our Bond films alone.

And let Pierce Brosnan continue for a bit - he does a fine job considering. Then when he hangs up his gun I vote for Dougray Scott or Clive Owen.

Lets go back to the original theme of Bond. Cars, stunts women and plenty of killing mixed in with some good one-liners.

Richard ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
