A friend and colleague was killed this morning in a road accident.

The whole day has just been surreal. I've seen several grown men cry and the women... they really let go. I've blinked back a few tears myself too, more than once.

I'm not looking for sympathy but if anything good can come out of it, everyone should remember to be careful, especially on slippery roads.

I love bikes and cars but it's been pretty sobering.

I'll keep riding bikes and enjoying my Z but things will never be the same again. We lost a really top guy. :(

Sorry to read this mate, my condolances to his family and work collegues!!

Take care all!

Sorry to hear.

That is one reason why I got traction control on mine. In weather like this you can tiptoe and still slip. :(

Yea, sorry to hear that. A real lesson to us all to save the serious driving for the track.

Sorry to hear that budy, If i can help in any way let me know.

Sorry to hear that, it never really hits home about the danger of winter months until it happens to someone you know.

I have been there bud and know how it feels. My thoughts are with you.

Take it easy. When you get home tonight from work, tell the special people in your life how much they mean to you. Life is precious and often far too short.

my rear end slipped out slightly on the way back from the shops and there was no visible ice on the road.

Sorry to hear that mate :( my condolences

Very nearly involved in a bike accident this morning :( I was in the Z going right on a double mini roundabout and a clown still half asleep on his scooter gunned it through the two mini roundabouts and I literally must have missed him by 2 inches right across the front of me. Good brakes.

kinda puts everything else into perspective really

doesn't it. :(

My condolences to his friends & family...RIP.

:( Man, that really makes you stop and think doesn't it.

My thoughts go out to all concerned, although thankfully I haven't had to deal with the pain of anything like this myself to date, I can't imagine what it's like. Not good.

Let this be a lesson to us all - life is short so do have fun, but be careful. And make sure that those people in your life that mean something to you, KNOW that they mean something to you.

Condolences again.
