The undisputably best mix of Bond theme and contemporary music stylee is undoubtedly "View To A Kill" by Duran Duran.

I liked the one where he won a trip round a sweet factory and it was run by midgets and Gene Wilder... can't remember the name though...

(my fave bit in Dr No is when the baddie (Blofeldt??) has an underwater fortress thing which rises up out of the sea at the press of a button. He's boasting about it and say it cost 'a meeeelion dollars' - that wouldn't buy a flat in Chelsea these days!)
