Hi

Our current estate for lugging the baby buggy etc round with is a Vectra 140SRi but I'm looking to sell this and buy a different estate car. But although it has FVSH the mileage is now over 140k so I want something with less.

It needs to be cheap :D £2-3k'ish and not dreadfully slow :nono: Something like the Vectra I guess, stiff suspension and a bit of grunt.

The quick search on the net has thrown up the Mondeo ST24 Estate as an idea but these are rare.

Subaru Legacy - anyone driven/owned one?

What others have people had bad/good experience with? :hyper:

Cheers

Pete

RV4 Legnum Twin Turbo. MMMM nice motor, but you aint going to get one for less than £5000.

Hi Shrimpo

I'd go with the Volvo T5 too

OK it looks like a brick with windows but it is still fast. The V40 T4 is pretty fast too. You can pick up decent ones for pennies now......

....plus if anyone tries to cut you up you can just floor it and surprise them with how fast they are. They'll be pi55ed off at being done by a Volvo estate.

Oh yeah, you can take up antique dealing at week-ends too :D

Richard ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Easy Leigh :nono: I've got steet cred to think of, the Volvo seems a much better idea

There is nothing more credible than a street sleeper like a Xantia. You can say all you want about Volvos etc, but people will always hate them. A Citroen has that 'underground' feel to it, so you's always, distant, cool and hip. Plus it's cheap as chips ! Seriously, these cars are invisible, nobody even wakes up as you drive past and you never ger pulled !

 Well Pete.

My estate would be Blickling hall or Holcolm Hall North norfolk. Estate car ? :nono: Keep the Zed thank Pete :duffer:

I think you need to ease off the hard drugs Andy  ;)
