This is not on, there are lots of guys up here in the North, I live in de Wales, and I think that we should start more meets in de North or at least in the Midlands etc.

Well said Glen M8. No offence intended about the meet down south guys. I was just an opportunity to see some of the forum members in the local area, that was all. I would be well up for a meet somewhere in the midlands for all of us to meet. Give us all a chance to put faces to names and for the Northern Alliance to meet the shandy drinking Southernerz!!!!!

Easytrack, the guys running the Kemble Track day this coming weekend, also run days at Elvington, just outside York.

 

"Elvington is about 10 road miles east of York City, just outside Elvington Village. The airfield is accessed from the B1228 (Elvington Lane) which joins the A64.

Once on the B1228 lookout for Halifax Way and Whitby Road. The gate to the airfield is right of the entrance to the Air Museum."

 

Depending upon how good next weekend is how about a forum meeting at Elvington? We have 7 Zs going to Kemble, should be able to get a similar number to York I would have thought.
