Ask MJP I have bought them from him in the past, although fitting a new end tank on an old core is not a good idea as the lugs that hold it in place break off,so fit a new core.

A Koyo is the way to go IMHO.

Cheers for that Iain. Just spoke to Mike, he can't get them anymore. New rad is £200. Noticed an old post where Andy was selling 2nd hand rad for £110, so looks like its a Koyo for me. My new flat is a drain on the cash flow at the moment though so I still might look about for a broken rad and just nick the end tank.

Ask Dave C he may have one.

Yeah, I will ask Dave.

Chris, don't suppose you have a link? I had a look but couldn't find it.

will have a check through bud .. should have taken it at the time give me 5 mins to find it.

Thanks bud. I think manual and auto's are different though? Mine is an auto :(

I thought that may be the case. bugger, could have been a right result, not as nice as a Koyo though ;-)

you can still use a manual one i got a recon one if your intrested.

So Auto and manual are both the same then? Just an easy replacement?

You sure? I've been ringing around this morning for a replacement and have been asked each time if its manual or auto, so there must be some difference?

manual has 4 pipes for the oil cooler and auto has 2 i used a manual one in my auto for a while .

I believe the auto rads have pipework to cool the autobox integrated in the rad!

James you can have a manual rad as you have a separate oil cooler for the autobox!

Yeah, I was thinking that Mark.

Errol, how much are you looking at for yours then?

James the rad fitted to an auto has the gearbox oil cooler in the end tanks a manual does not have this.As long as you have an aftermarket gearbox oil cooler then you can fit a manual rad or a Koyo.

Cheers, that widens the scope of getting one then....... Just checking credit card health though for that Koyo.

Good one, lets just hope that when it turns on ya doorstep that it is off an Auto with the extra pipes on the End Tank...

James, I have an old rad, you can have it if you want. It has a leak, but I'm sure it could be repaired, either by soldering or crimping off one of the cores. Let me know.

My actual rad was re-cored last year. The top pipe of my end tank has snapped so its very hard to get a proper seal with the hose. This is what is causing my leak. Now I'm not a radiator expert but I'm guessing I could swap an end tank over? From one rad to the other? Not ideal maybe as Mac said but would do until father xmas brings me a Koyo or Howie!

If your r/h/s is ok then that would be fantastic Andy. I would owe you several large beers! :duffer:

The end tanks and everything are fine, dunno how difficult it is to swap them over though. PM me to arrange collection.
