Hows this done? I know with the manual you put it in fith gear with the hand brake on

But use one of the old accessory drive belts round the botom pulley...

Or pull the starter and jam something in there to stop it turning.

chocking the starting ring is the easiest way to go, takes 2 mins to get the starter motor off, but you need 2 people to do it, as one has to hold the chock and one to remove the pulley bolt.

Make sure its well wedged too - don't wanna be damaging those teeth ;)
