Help with Part No. Needed

Hiya all

I'm trying to order a new targa rubber strip, the bit that attachs to the targa roof and sits at the top of the electric window, I've been to nissan but they can't seem to find the right part on there computer, if anybody can help with this no. I would be very happy. Then I can stop water pissing inside the car.

Cheers

With all due respect to all of you here but if Nissan don't know - who the hell is gonna?

I rather suspect that it will depend upon who at Nissan looks. Some people are more enthusiastic than others ....

Don't have my parts CD with me right now ...

I'm not 100% sure but I think the partnrs. are:

91666-51P10 (RH) and 91667-51P10 (LH)

They are in section 736 of the Nissan-partsmanual that most Nissan-dealers use. (maybe that helps)

Eric you beat me to it! smile.gif (I'm sure these are the only weatherstrips that fit the description.)

If they're the right ones then it sounds like a group buy is in order !

Although not for me as mine don't leak tongue.gif

John, are you sure your ones are knackered, down behind each A-pillar trim is a drain pipe from the targa tops, these can become clogged or kinked if you have been doing any work down near footwells, only takes 5 mins to take trim off, try this then hose the tops to see if water is draining way properly

I know you clearly have water coming in there, but it may only be caused by having no drain away,Smithy

Hi

Thanks for the info Eric, I'll order them tomorrow.

Smithy,

Yeah its defo the seals, had all the drain holes etc,and its the seals, water pissing down the inside.
