Keyed Bonnet - Respray or get replacement bonnet ?

Hi

2nd day of Zed ownership and I have been going over the car, for bits that need replacing/fixing.

One of the most irritating is that some bugger had kindly writted "ZX" in huge letters, on the bonnet with a sharp instrument before I purchased it. Scratches not too visible, but quite deep.

I was wondering wether getting a second hand bonnet (seem to go for under £100) in the same colour (Black) would be fine for color matching ?....or if I would really need to get the whole bonnet resprayed (a lot more than £100 I expect?)

Cheers,

David

a good bodyshop would repair the damage and it would be unnoticeable and a perfect match to the rest of the panels , Black is a very difficult colour to match as there are so many shades and the way it wears in sunlight and fades etc

should cost no morethen 70 quid for a repair to make those nasty scratches go away

Don't know if that helps - and it might have gone :-)

I was a little unclear...
