Having Being brought up with 0-60 times rammed down my throat, I cant get away from this way of thinking and at the end of the day when your sat at the lights and some nodding guy points at you and then the road ahead 1/4 miles dont come into it (i'm childish ok!).

With intake, exhaust and chip/boost mods I am told a 300 can achieve approx 400BHP, my personal estimate is probably 360BHP, But stand waiting to be corrected, obviously 0-60 times have the big gear change in the middle so it is hard to improve this figure dramaticaly.

So to get to the question can anyone tell me with the above mods what would you estimate as a 0-60 time.

Thanks

with all running well i think the zed could manage about 4.5 sec to 60 but i dont think it will get much lower with more power its just too big and heavy and not enough traction

4.5 is really good for a few simple mods, this is actually better than I thought, I was thinking it may be around 5 secs, thanks Kirbz

I think Nissan claimed around about 5.8 for stock when they were new

If you're looking at a manwell without traction control, a lot comes down to how good the driver is.

True that, I've had anything from 5.2 to 6.1... Getting a good start and keeping traction is bloody hard! But that's what makes driving this car so much fun :D

I think I'll do that when the car is back from the garage,

The stopwatch that is, infact my phone has hundreds of a second, so I have a go with that.

I got a 5.1 in the middle of summer with simular mods at north weild air field! i'd say easy late fours on a good day with them mods

music to my ears!

Several times on my way home from work this tw*t in a 911 carrera has come up my arse, he holds it there for a while then floors it past me, I am a childish git at the best of times but this is beyond a joke, I didnt get the car to have this done to me and am usually proud to advertise the 300s power, however for a year now Ive had no acceleration as my turbos had siezed, I arranged to have them replaced and the engine at the same time so I could increase the boost pressure as the old engine had 160,000 on it, but since then Ive been pissed around I waited six months for the job to be done, eventually it was done only for me to find it was only pulling 0-60 in 7 secs, so its gone back for a new engine which is due back anyday, I am then going to run it in and have the boost done, the reason I am asking for the figures is really a guide to measure against this type of preditor.

P.s I would have used baggins for the engine change but didnt know this site at the time.
